Earlier this year, I worked with Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow. Two weeks of concerts featuring artists from around the globe alongside the best Scottish talents. I have photographed acts as diverse as John Grant, Graham Nash, Niteworks, KT Tunstall, Mariza, The Comos Mamas, Songhoy Blues and many more in this two weeks period.
My highlight last year (if not all time highlight) was to work on a few of Christine & The Queens shows to photograph the images to be used by the press during the UK Tour. Click on the photo below to see the gallery, more soon !
In November, I followed Miles Kane for the day to document his Barrowland Ballroom show. I had such a great time photographing his show, amazing performer ! A few pics below.
In August, I headed to NYC for Afropunk to cover the festival for a fashion research Agency.
Located in the scenic grounds of Drumlanrig Castle, one hour drive from Glasgow, Electric Fields Festival is one of the most exciting music festivals in Scotland. The Line-Up this year included Young Fathers, Idlewild, Ezra Furman, Idles, Ghostpoet, Honeyblood and many more. I was glad to be part of the official photography Team. A few pictures below and more infos on their website.
I had the chance to Tour for a month with Calexico again in July and August. They played a lot of amazing shows, my favorite venue being the Acropolis in Athens !
For the second year in a row, I was part of the photography team for Pointu Festival in south of France. A little free festival by the sea with the likes of The Oh Sees, Sleaford Mods, FIDLAR, Carpenter Brut, Deap Vally, and many more playing this year. I can’t wait to be back there again.
I had the best time again this year at Primavera in Barcelona. Thanks to the bands who got me in and to those I have partied with. A small selection of photos below.
Earlier this month, I got the chance to spend a week on tour with Josh T Pearson. He is well known for his work with Lift to Experience and has just released a new Album "The Straight Hits!" The shows were amazing ! Some pictures below.
I was the official photographer of Celtic Connections in Glasgow this year. The festival focuses on the roots of traditional Scottish music and also features international folk, roots and world music artists. My highlight was Bothy Culture & Beyond at The SSE Hydro shot for Celtic Connections and BBC Scotland.
Here is one of my fave image of the show. I will post a bigger gallery as soon as I find the time to do so !
A few months ago, I was commissioned by Paolo Nutini and his Team and documented his hometown show at Paisley Abbey. It was a huge honor to work with him and produce this on/off stage photo reportage. I can't show you much yet apart from this photo below of the beautiful Church lighting.

Hi, I'm in NYC. I have not find the time to update the Blog section of the website in a while but here is what I've shot lately :
* Austin City Limits for the Line of Best Fit and Redferns (via Getty Images). The galleries are here : Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 and on Getty website. It was such an amazing festival !
* The Cure in El Paso
* CBGB Festival in Time Square with some pictures on Fuse and Rolling Stone US Printed Magazine
* Cold War Kids
* Kurt Vile
* Islands with a picture in Fuse
* Of Montreal - I especially like the Portraits that I took of them Backstage before the show
More pictures can be find on my flickr account (do not use without prior agreement).
I just got back to Berlin from a three weeks Tour with a band called Cold War Kids.Before I left, I got to shoot a couple of events including INTROducing for Intro Magazine and Arte Live Web. I also shot a wedding as I sometimes do, Willy Moon and Jamie Cullum for Redferns/Getty. Tough work, most venues I have shot in Berlin don't seem to use their lights very much and also do not have a photo pit...
I found out about a couple of images being published:
* The Cure for the Lollapalooza annoucement
* Kurt Vile in Rolling Stone for Coachella Must See Acts
* Icona Pop for SeattlePi, announcing the Line-Up of Bumbershoot, Seattle Music Festival
In the next few weeks, I'll be covering a lot of International Music Festivals so keep checking back here for updates. I am still interested to do more portraits and tour documentaries, please see my Portraits and Tour gallery and contact me if it's of any interests !
Since Christmas, things have been a bit quiet. I have only shot Peter Hook for The Line of Best Fit and Alt-J (with Clean Bandit and Nightworks opening for them) for Retna.I also shot Blood Red Shoes for Getty. Now I'm off on holidays !
I got back from a five weeks tour with Nada Surf last sunday. It was a great experience. I will put pictures up as soon as I have got time. So weird to be back ! Now I just need to find a very nice band to take me on tour again. Since I got back, I shot Passion Pit at the Forum and a couple of the MENCAP Little Noise Sessions gigs. I shot Richard Hawley who was of course amazing, Prince Charles, Noah and The Whale and a few other bands. It was a great set up in a church I've never ever seen before and only five minutes walk from my place. If you want to give to MENCAP, here you go.
I have attended the Electric Picnic in Ireland last week-end and shot for The Line of Best Fit, but also for this. Great atmosphere this year.I have to say that I was not really looking forward to it as last year edition was cold and rainy and I got lost in the parking lot forever under the rain :) This year was much better, it was also my 60th Cure concert, a bit crazy, but true...
It was great to see Richard Hawley live, he is my new favorite and great to catch up with Cranes too !
A couple of days before the festival, I also found out that one of my image of Arcade Fire from last year edition had been used for the Design of an Heineken online banner. I had not been asked about it but all is well that ends well and I hope I will work with them again !
This week, I was lucky enough to shoot Kiss twice !! I attended their press conference where they were talking about their new photography book. Unfortunately they didn't wear their trademark make-up but I got to shoot their show at the Forum too. It was completely amazing. I only knew a couple of songs but they totally ROCKED IT and I really hope to see them again. I couldn't believe how good they were ! It was great to shoot a band with so much energy, posing for the camera and with amazing lights ! Everything was perfect, despite the 29 other photographers next to me :) I also shot "The tallest Man on Earth" in Hackney for The Line of Best Fit and The Psychedelic Furs at The Garage.
